Founder & Lead Stylist
Cuts & Direction
Runs the studio and takes the design-led cuts. This role would set the visual direction and mentor the rest of the team.
Velora was imagined as the kind of hair studio you actually look forward to visiting — unhurried, considered, and honest about what your hair can and can't do.
The concept is a boutique room with two chairs, generous appointment slots, and a stylist who has the time to talk about your hair properly before touching it. We take out the parts of a salon visit that tend to feel transactional, and put back the parts that make a good haircut worth booking again.
Velora Hair Studio is a fictional business created for this portfolio piece. It's here to show what a premium, independent studio brand could look and feel like online — every service, price, and team member on this site is illustrative, not real.
Four small things we try to get right every time.
Every appointment starts with a proper conversation about your hair, your routine, and what "done" looks like for you.
If a service isn't right for your hair or your budget, we'll say so, and suggest something that is.
Nothing we do to your hair is worth doing at the cost of its long-term health. Colour, cut and treatments are chosen with that in mind.
Slower tempo, softer music, one chair at a time. Salon visits should feel like an hour off, not an errand.
The people below are fictional — sketches of the roles a studio like this might staff.
Cuts & Direction
Runs the studio and takes the design-led cuts. This role would set the visual direction and mentor the rest of the team.
Colour & Correction
Focused on balayage, tonal work and thoughtful colour correction. Sits with each colour client through consultation and application.
Styling & Bridal
Handles bridal previews and day-of styling, both in-studio and on location. Long-hair styling and set work are their focus.
No qualifications, awards or specific credentials have been invented here. In a real studio, this section would carry actual bios, training and any accreditations the team holds.
Velora is a portfolio piece by Digital Help, a small studio building content-distribution systems and web concepts for independent brands. This page exists to show design, tone-of-voice and interaction patterns for a considered, premium service business — not to trade as a real salon.
If you like what you see here and want something similar built for a real business, the contact page has the (illustrative) way to get in touch — swap those details for your own once you take this concept over.
